Mr. Javier “Jay” Hidalgo, Sr., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Age 63 years. Jay was born September 26, 1957, to Francisco and Esperanza (Suarez) Hidalgo in Marion, Texas.
Jay was a hard, very dedicated worker and was employed with Ryder Logistics for 20+ years. He taught his sons to work hard and with pride.
He attended Maranatha Church with his family and was baptized in Jesus’ name by his son Justin at The Bread House South in Lansing, Michigan.
Jay enjoyed fishing, sports, having breakfast and coffee with his siblings, and spending time with his children.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Debbie Hidalgo; children, Javier (Delfina) Hidalgo, Jr., Justin (Rebecca) Hidalgo, and James (Angela) Husted, Sr.; grandchildren, Esperanza, James, Jr., Javier, III., Justine, Leeanna, Alexus, Denicio, Justin II, Dallas, Riley, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, August, Lyric, Reign, Analyah, Carter, Lil Jimmy, III., and Arianna; sisters, Rosa, Dora, Lucy, and Elvira; brothers, George, Daniel, and Albert; and many other family members and friends, including best friend, Jake Rodriguez.
Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco, Sr., and Esperanza Hidalgo; and his big brother, Francisco “Frank” Hidalgo, Jr.
