Mr. J.D. Davis Jr. went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 16, 2010. Age 61 years. He was born February 10, 1949 in Sunflower, Mississippi to J.D. & Hezzie (McKinley) Davis Sr.
J.D. came to Saginaw, Michigan in the late 1960s and was employed with General Motors Corporation as a factory worker. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and life itself.
He leaves to cherish his memory thirteen children including Mona Davis, Janvona Davis and Rozette Pennington; three grandchildren, Devan Pennington, Makalia Souder, Deja Ruffin; two sisters, Mary (Charles) Sledge, Saginaw, MI, Betty (Calvin) Ginn, Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Horace (Gwen) Davis, Johnny McKinley Sr., Grand Rapids, MI; two aunts; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special nieces, LaShondra Ginn and Angela Williamson and special friend, Barbara Houston.
J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Hezzie (McKinley) Davis Sr.; sister, Rose Mary Campbell; niece, Deshawn Davis.
