Ms. Jeanette Clayton Harris departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the age of 72 years. She was born March 29, 1943 in Meridian, Mississippi to Annie and Obie Clayton Sr.
Jeanette attended school in Meridian, Mississippi. She had a love for children. Jeanette enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her presence will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Christopher Love of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Yolanda Beemon-Singleton and Luke Harris both of Saginaw, Michigan; three brothers, Earl Clayton of Florida, Obie Clayton and Greg Clayton of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Yvonne Gray of Atlanta, Georgia and Ruby Nelly of Meridian, Mississippi; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Harris, parents, Annie and Obie Clayton Sr. and three sons, Baby Smith, Dewayne Lee and Tyrus William.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered kind words, prayers and condolences.
