Jeanette Thomas

Mrs. Jeanette Thomas passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 at her residence. Age 79 years. She was born October 19, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan to Alverta Lee and Richard Woodley.
Jeanette was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist church. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved cooking and playing cards . She was loved by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters and two sons, Robert (Lela) Thomas, Jennell (Donnie) Martin, Lavera (Gary) Webb, Tasha Thomas, all of Saginaw, MI, Tarrell (Lori) Thomas, Virginia Beach, VA; god-daughter, Denise (Charles) Camel; god-son, Freddy (Berda) Johnson; sixteen grandchildren, Schnelle Thomas, Terrance and Tedrick Vaughns, Kamesha Walker, Dontae and Robert Tomas Jr, Lewis Thomas, Frankie Riche II, Keyon Riche,
Cherish Fillmore, Brittany, Leashia and Gary Webb Jr; nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene (Elvira) Lee, Inglewood, CA; niece, Kimberly Barnes, Lawton, OK; nephews, Ray and Landus Lee, Inglewood, CA, three sisters-in-law, Mattie Knight, New Jersey, Johnnie Mae Hill, Philadelphia, PA, Gertrude Davis, Grand Rapids, MI; special cousin, Myrtle Collier, many other relatives and friends including special friends, Bertha Garth, Gloria Hannah,
Joyce Oneal, Andrew (Virgil) Williams, Sister Verba Martin, Shawn Ramsey, Tiffany Cooper and Quanise Hatter. The family would like to express special thanks to Hospice and St. Marys and Freddy and Berda Johnson for all their love and support.
Jeanette was preceded in death by husband, Leroy Thomas Jr.; one daughter, Alverta Thomas; mother, Alverta Lee.
