Je'Nhyla Simms

JeNhyla Sharmaine T'Ara Simms affectionately known as Nonny" gained her angelic wings on November 14, 2014 at Covenant Medical Center. Age 6 years. JeNhyla was born February 6, 2008, the beloved daughter of Destiny Oglesby and Jerry Maine Simms in Saginaw, Michigan.
Nonny was known for her gracious smile and sweet spirit that brought joy to the room. JeNhyla had a smile that lit up the lives of those who knew her. She enjoyed watching television and crawling around exploring anything that was within her reach. She spent much of her day playing with her other siblings and taking away their bottles and toys from them. She did not enjoy getting her hair combed but loved to look in the mirror after it was styled and completed. Nonny's favorite hobby was eating.
Her memory will be cherished by siblings, Samarria, Jaimarion, Jaiceon, Jaleel and Jalaiyla Simms; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Marilyn Oglesby of Saginaw, Michigan and paternal grandparents, Gwendolyn Simms and Harold Harris; a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Je'Nhyla was predeceased by her grandfather, Jerry Houston and her godmother, Kia Frierson.
