Jennette "Jet" Hargo (Lansing)

Ms. Jennette (Jet) Hargo gained her heavenly wings November 22, 2022, at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 83 years. She was born May 5, 1939, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Nellie Horton Hargo & Roland Hargo, Sr.

Jet was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan. She was a graduate of J. W. Sexton High School. Jet worked for the State of Michigan and retired from there. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a nurse at Friendship Baptist Church and her current membership was with Friendship House of Prayer. She was a member of the Greater Lansing Nurses Guild, and Capital City Temple - The Elks.

Jet was the “Hostess with the mostess!” who loved to throw memorable gatherings in celebration of anything.

She leaves to cherish her memory her granddaughter, Danielle Moore of Dallas, Texas; sister, Betty George; goddaughter, Deborah Johnson; nephews, David and DeShawn (Angela) George; great nephews, great nieces, extended family and friends including best friend, Dorothy Johnson-Mitts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pendleton; beloved son, Todd Mitchell; parents, Roland, Sr. and Nellie Hargo; siblings, Roland Jr., Robert and Maynard Hargo.
