Jennie J. Brickles (Lansing)

Ms. Jennie J. Brickles passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 59 years. She was born July 30, 1958 to parents, Virgil Brickles and Elisa Lewis Brickles in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Jennie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved cars, going to casinos, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors, dancing and traveling. Jennie especially loved and cherished her 6 grandchildren. She was a true lover of life!

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Kisha Renae Skinner, Lansing, Michigan and son, Mickael Skinner, Sr., Smyrna, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren, Na’Tayviea, Zahquareon, JaQuez, Michael, Jr., KaVari “FatDaddy”, KaMyja “Mymy” and her seventh one on the way; 3 sisters, Clarice Epps, Michigan, Nadine Cole, Kentucky, Geneva Johnson, Michigan; 2 brothers, Troy Brickles and Ollie Brickles, both of Kentucky; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Elisa Brickles; 2 sisters, Phyllis Wilson and Carolyn McCleese; and 5 brothers, Gary Brickles, Dewey Brickles, Raymond Brickles, Larry Brickles and Vangel Brickles.
