Jennifer Thibodeaux

Jennifer Ann (Holder) Thibodeaux of Bay City, Michigan was born October 7, 1965 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to Annie Coston and William Hart, Jr. and was raised by Annie and Huey Coston in Huntingdon, Tennessee and Bay City, Michigan. Jennifer transitioned from this world to eternal life on March 27, 2022 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Jenny graduated from Central High School in Bay City, Michigan where she enjoyed volleyball and spending time with her friends. She attended Davenport College and spent most of her life as a homemaker. Her greatest joy was seeing the paths that her sons, Cedric and Jason took in life. She would proudly exclaim, “I raised my two boys right.” She was loyal, generous, and always ready to stick up for her circle of friends and family. She loved to watch her soap operas, go to Bingo and to the Casino. She also deeply enjoyed shopping for glamorous purses.

Jenny is survived by her sons: Cedric W. (Tracey) Wicks, Sr. and Jason Y. (Stephanie) Holder; husband: Anthony Thibodeaux; step-children: Isaac Thibodeaux and Lola Thibodeaux; sisters: Amanda Travis and Travonda Davenport; brothers: Timothy Pearson and Christopher Taylor; aunts: Sandra Holder, Mattie (Holder) Owsley, Vicki (Holder) Sanchez, Tracy Daniels, Lena Daniels, and Tina Daniels; uncles: Clarence Holder, Curtis Holder, Larry Holder, Michael Holder, William Daniels, and Rodney Daniels; grandchildren: Jeyda Jackson, Alaila Malave, Stefon Holder, Gizelle Holder, Cayleb Wicks, Kacey Wicks, Cedric Wicks, Jr., Kamryn Wicks; cousins: Clarence Holder, Jr., Anthony Holder, Valerie (Holder) Williams, Veronica Holder, Thomas E. Parker, Felicia T. Parker, Stacy T. Parker, Brian K. Parker, and a host of other cousins; niece and nephew: Lorna and Cortez Keith; special friends: Mona A. Harris, Lesia Gilbert, Charla Govan, Nickey Williams, Haywood Melton, Eric Melton, Chaunta Ford and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandmother: Dorothy Dudley; grandmothers: Barbara ‘Baby Dee’ Smith and Delores Holder; grandfather: Rufus Holder; and uncles: Clarence Holder and Curtis Holder.
