Mrs. Jennifer May Watson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. She was 62 years of age.

Jennifer was born March 9, 1962, in Cass City, Michigan, to Eli David and Henrietta Frances Holes. Later, she became a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. Jennifer was a faithful member of the Historic Second Baptist Church in Bay City, Michigan, where she served with the Music Ministry and as a Deaconess. Jennifer was an intelligent woman with many talents. She held a bachelor’s degree and was an English teacher and licensed beautician. Jennifer was quite a character--- she was vibrant in personality and style; she made statements with her attire. Jennifer had a heart of gold; anyone who crossed her path or had the honor of knowing her was blessed. Jennifer truly touched many lives in so many special ways, especially her grandchildren who were, and are, her world.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her husband of 21 years, 4 months and 6 days, Daryl P. Watson, Saginaw, Michigan; five children, Sunny L. Holes, Saginaw, Savannah (Alondro) McCall, Saginaw, Alfred (Candice) Peterson, Bay City, Michigan, Tracy (Steve) Kushion, Bay City, and Eli I. Johnson, Saginaw; one stepson, Lamar (Cynthia) Davis; grandchildren, Alondra, Areannah, Aniya, and Alondro Jr. McCall, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Steve E. III, Eli, Isabella, Gabriella, Christian, and Gunner Kushion, all of Bay City, Maliki, Ice, Messiah, Makaveli and Makhi Peterson all of Bay City, Sunshyne, Solana, Sunaiya, and Sunny Holes Jr, all of Saginaw, and her newest grandchild due to be born in May 2025; one sister, Ellen Holes, Bay City, two brothers, Frank (Marion) Holes, Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Mark Holes, Bay City; several nieces and nephews scattered near and far including Tenesha Peterson, Trinesha and Rochenda, Dottie and Brienna Taylor; brothers-in-law, Donald and Wendell Watson, Saginaw, Michael Watson, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Gary Watson, Long Beach, California; special brother, Alonzo Voltz, Cecil, Ohio. Deaconess Watson will be greatly missed by her Historic Second Baptist Church family, Pastor Marcelle T. (Lady Jennifer) Smith.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Henrietta Holes, and her mother and father-in-law, Arthur L. and Louise Watson.
