Jerome Curry passed away Tuesday evening, June 26, 2012 at the Tendercare Nursing Facility in Gaylord, MI after a lengthy illness. Jerome was born in Dothan, Alabama February 13, 1945 to Perry and Essie Curry.
Jerome attended Saginaw Public Schools and enlisted in the United States Army in 1963. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was honorably discharged in 1971. He was also a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign War) and a member of the S. 17th Street Church of Christ.
Jerome enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, watching TV, (especially Westerns and Karate) and was an avid reader.
Jeromes memory will be cherished by his mother, Essie Mae Curry of Carrollton, MI, 3 brothers: Teal and Percy Curry of Saginaw/Carrollton, MI and Jake Curry of Auburndale, Florida. 2 sister Hazel Dawkins and Beverly Curry of Saginaw, MI. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and 2 great, great nieces. His friends on Sherman St in Carrollton, Leonard Batts, the Woods family and Larry Webb.
Jerome was predeceased by his father, Perry Curry, one brother and grandparents.
