Jerome Deshaun Ezell (Lansing)

Jerome Deshaun Ezell went home to be with the Lord, November 7, 2017 at the age of 27. He was born April 22, 1990 in Lansing, Michigan to Jeffrey and Rosa Ezell.

Jerome grew up in Lansing, Michigan and played football for the Lansing Warriors. He attended Everett High School and later continued his education at Lansing Community College. Jerome accepted Christ in his life at an early age at Galilee Baptist Church. He was employed with Arctic Glacier and often picked up hours at Tim Hortons. He enjoyed cooking, loved fashion, music and spending time with his children, family and friends. Jerome had an infectious and contagious smile that would brighten up any room he walked in; he also had a very inspirational sense of humor and loving spirit.

Jerome leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Rosa Ezell; father, Jeffrey Ezell; children: Jerome Ezell, Jr., Deshaun Ezell, Ja’Karee Ezell, DeVaughn Turner, Amari Ezell, Jionni Ezell and Jaxson Ezell; grandparents: Lula Washington and Mildred Ezell; siblings: Shamon Amos, Atishia Amos, Jeffrey Ezell and James Ezell; the love of his life, Jasmine Hill; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. An acknowledgement to those that held a special place in his heart, Uncle John and Aunt Nancy Humphrey; special cousins, John Humphrey, Jr. and Jeff Humphrey; and special friends, Markics Manns and Whitney Clemmons.

Jerome was preceded in death by grandparents, Willis Humphrey, Sr. and Joe Ed Ezell.
