Jerome Morgan (Lansing)

Mr. Jerome Anthony Morgan passed away November 20, 2021, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Age 51 years. He was born August 25, 1970, in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Levis Elliott and Christine Morgan. Jerome was born American Aborigine/Moor.

He resided in Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Eastern High School. Jerome’s most recent employment was at the Meridian Magnesium plant in Eaton Rapids, Michigan; there he had aspirations and expectations. He held his new motto “New Beginnings” in high regard and was making many plans.

Jerome had an avid passion for family and people. He loved cooking, fishing, various studies, sports, and painting. All of Jerome’s endeavors will be remembered by many family members, friends, and people who touched his life.

He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Christine Morgan; daughter, Azharea Kashea Morgan; son, Jerome Anthony Morgan, Jr.; honorary son, Artavious King, whom he loved like his own; godchildren, Roneshia Taylor, Keith Houston, and Sinise Summerville; grandfather, Robert Lee Brunson; sister, Tiffany Monique (Scott, Sr.) Morgan-Sutton; brother, Christopher Elliott Morgan; nieces, Aja M. Morgan. Kyla C. Morgan, and Morgan L. Sutton; great-nieces, Aydri S. Williams, and Aria C. Morgan; nephews, Wesley E. Morgan, Scott M. Sutton, Jr., Richard T. Sutton, and Micah M. Morgan; great-nephews, Xaiden K. Williams and Isaiah K. Trainor; aunts, Theresa (Doug) Smith, Ruby (Terri) Brown, Mary Pierre, Dorothy Williams, and Sharron Allen; uncles, Marvin (Stacy) Morgan, Deacon Johnnie L. (Mary) Brown, John A. (Linda) Brown, Sean D. Brunson, Royal (Roy) Brunson, and Jerry Talison; and many more relatives and friends, whom Jerome loved dearly, including but not limited to his close circle of friends.

Jerome was preceded in death by his father, Levis Elliott; grandmother, Essie Kate; grandparents, Ike and Lillie Mae Talison; aunts, Anita Morgan, Ethel Mitchell, and great-aunt, Mary Williams; uncle, Louis J. Morgan, and great-uncle, Arvell Williams.
