Jerry Corral

October 8, 1947 — June 24, 2012

Jerry Dean Corral went home to be with the Lord at the young age of 64 years. After he said his goodbyes to his family, he closed his eyes, took his last breath and opened his eyes in glory (Heaven). He was born October 8, 1947 in Washington County, Mississippi to Ruby Mae Franklin (Madea/Mary) and Sidney Corral.
Jerry moved to Saginaw, Michigan in 1966. He was employed by General Motors from September 13, 1967, where he worked for 30 years until his retirement in 1997. He was also a member of UAW Local 668. Jerry was a member of Living Waters Ministries COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Tommy and Missionary Jessie R. Greer where he accepted Christ into his life. He was an avid fisherman, loved sports and enjoyed cooking for his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Corry Mae Corral; four daughters, Luvonzell (Albert) Johnson, Patricia Ann Thomas, Cassandra (Ben) Frazier, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Latonia Corral, North Kansas City, Missouri; one son, Jerry Corral Jr.; fifteen grandchildren, Marcus, Kieara, Khiry, David, DaShawn, Daquayle, Davielle, DaJa, Sommer, Saige, Benjamin, Senethea, AntaNeesha, Duan and Kira; six great-grandchildren, David Jr., Jayla, NaShayla, MyAsia, Abrielle and Peyton; a special aunt and uncle, Alberta (Fred) Lee Aunt Bert of Greenfield, Mississippi; two nieces, Linda Faye, Kimberly Calvin; two nephews, Terry Mark, Terrell Calvin; two special brothers-in-law, Boston Reed, LeAndrew Allen; two special sisters-in-law, Izella Smith, Gloria Jake; many other relatives and friends including special friends Ronnie (Ruth) Baston, Ann Hamilton. Although we cant name everyone, we do recognize and love you.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Mae Franklin; one sister, Deloris Calvin; grandson, TaRahn MarQuese; son-in-law, David Thomas; cousin, Tommy Lee Franklin.
