Jerry Delgado, Jr.

Mr. Jerry Delgado Jr. passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Age 50 years. He was born September 5, 1971, in Saginaw, Michigan to Jerry Delgado Sr., and Velia Pena (Delgado).

Jerry was a member of New Beginnings Church. He attended Bridgeport High School and retired from AT&T in 2017 after 22 years of service. Jerry was a sports enthusiast and an exceptional baseball player. He enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events and was a supportive family man. He was fond of many different genres of music and loved showing off his dance skills. Jerry was very stylish, charismatic, and had a magnetic personality that could capture a crowd. His unique humor, smile, and contagious laugh will always be a treasured memory to us all and he will be missed dearly by his family and those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Jerry leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Monica Arroyo Delgado, Saginaw, Michigan; six children, Tavion Bradley, Jerry Delgado III, Isaiah Delgado, Gierra Delgado, Alyssa Arroyo, and Julian Arroyo; two grandchildren, Tavion J. Delgado Jr., and Liam Cobain Delgado; mother, Velia(Pena) Delgado; grandparents, Antonio Mary Pena, and Gilbert Hope Merino; three brothers, Augustine Delgado Sr., Michael Delgado Sr., and Nicholas Delgado Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; in-laws, William and Judy Arroyo Green; brothers-in-law, Octabiano and Ruben Arroyo; best friend, Ruben Arroyo; two godsons, Nicholas Delgado, Jr., and Jayce Delgado.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Jerry Delgado Sr, grandparents, Antonio and Mary Pena, Gilbert and Hope Merino, aunt, Alice Rocha, uncle, Juan Delgado, Sr., and sister-in-law Yolanda Arroyo.
