Mr. Jerry Griffin, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the age of 62 years. Born May 2, 1959, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Thomas and Addie (Glass) Griffin, he was sixth of nine children and was affectionately known as “Red."
Jerry lived a life of significant impact through his love and service to family and friends. He attended Saginaw Public Schools. He loved being with family and friends, sitting on the front porch, walking to 14th Street Market, playing cards and dominoes and saying, “LEAVE ME ALONE” and “I’M JUST TIRED”.
Mr. Griffin leaves to cherish loving memories, seven siblings, Dorothy Austin, Larry (Wendy) Griffin, Freida Wicks, Mattie (David) Swilley, Steven Griffin, Danny (Danita) Griffin, and Kimberly Griffin of Saginaw, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Trevis (Denette) Bulls, Derrick Casey, Brian Casey, Felecia (Leroy) Tinner, Trisha (Dudley) Fields, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Bulls, Carletta (Khalid) Salaam, Steven Griffin Jr., Courtney Griffin, Kayla Griffin, Dimitris (Audrey) Griffin, Danny Griffin Jr., Deonta (Tori) Griffin, Danisha Griffin, Donta Griffin, Tieeshu Griffin, David Griffin and Nicole Shepard; special friends, Alfredia Pierson, Ms. Rosie Almond; a host of, other relatives, extended family, and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Addie Griffin, and sister Elaine Griffin.
