Jerry Lee Whitley

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and son passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009. Age 53 years. He was born August 3, 1955 in Ripley, Tennessee to Willie Lee Whitley and Bertha Mae Whitley. Mr. Whitley accepted Christ at an early age and served on the usher board at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Margaret (Doxie) Whitley of Saginaw; four daughter and five sons: LaCiesha Clark of Saginaw, Kanya Whitley of Lansing, MI, James Oats and LaMar Oats of Alabama; Mario, Felicia, Chris, Christopher and Gabrielle Whitley of Saginaw; six grandchildren; parents Willie Lee and Carrie Whitley and Bertha Mae Whitley of Saginaw; six sisters and three brothers; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; mother and father-in-law Emmitte Doxie, Jr. and Nancy Doxie; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends three God brothers, two God sisters and four God children. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Whitley, Sr., grandchildren Nasir and Kanye Parker, brother-in-law Thomas Doxie.
