Mr. Jerry McCrae of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009. Age 64. The beloved son of Jim and Gradie (Robinson) McCray was born January 13, 1945 in Headland, Alabama. Mr. McCraes work history included the Nodular Plant, the Chesapeake Railroad as well as being self-employed with a dry steam carpet cleaning business. He enjoyed reading cooking, playing chess and cards. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Mr. McCrae followed the teachings of Islam.
Loving father and grandfather, Mr. McCrae will be missed dearly by his sons: Jerry and Toney McCray; stepchildren: Marjay and Michael Juan Mascotti; grandchildren: Adonica, Nasheka and Little Man McCray of Saginaw, MI, Giovonna, Neo, Cyrus and Arius McCray all of Colorado Springs, CO; one great grandchid, Joel McCall; siblings: Nora, Barbara Deborah and Elayne Hollis, Robert (Mary) McCray and Donald (Earline) Hollis; nieces: Dedrea Owens-Carter, Taryn Owens and many other nieces and nephews. Mr. McCrae was preceded in death by his father, Jim McCray, sister, Dora McCray and brother, Jimmie McCray.
