Mr. Jerry Earl Smith departed this earthly life on Monday, March 30, 2015 in Houston, Texas at the age of 27 years old. He was born May 29, 1987 in Saginaw, Michigan to Michelle Smith and Jerry Earl Bass.
Jerry was a resident of Houston, Texas. He attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Maurice Johnson. Jerry attended Ruben Daniels Lifelong Learning Center. He worked as a mechanic. Jerry enjoyed working on cars and anything else that needed fixing. He was the Go to guy that could fix anything. His presence will be missed by all his loved ones.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jessica Smith; three sons, Jerrvarius D. Smith, Jerry Earl Smith Jr. and Jae-Lyn J. Smith; two stepchildren, JoeHanna and Troy Daison; parents, Michelle Smith and Jerry Bass; step-parents, Thomas Larry and Antione (Lashawna) Henderson; grandparents, Barbara (Theodore) Hill Bass, Dorothy Marie Bass and Joseph Calloway; two sisters, Nyeisha Smith and Marie Bass; six brothers, Antione Henderson Jr., Jerry Boykins, Andrew Bass, Christopher Boykins, Leroy Bass and Deterryion Parham; several nieces and nephews; three aunts, Earmon Smith, Shawn and Joann Bass; five uncles, Joseph, Freddie and Rick Calloway, Jerry Earl and JD Smith; several cousins including a special cousin, Fredrick Calloway Juicy mother and father-in-law, Sandra and Randall Walter; two sisters-in-law, NaTasha Kelly and Vanessa Lumsden; many other relatives and friends including his special friends, Melissa Williams, Jason Green, Jermaine Bently, Charles and Glen ONeal, Rodney Humphrey and Pattrick Woo.
Jerry was preceded in death by his loved ones, JD Smith, Barbara Bass, LT Smith, Mytris Smith, Dorothy Marie Bass, Tyrone Smith and Charlotte Kindell.
