John Basil Flowers "Johnny" of Lansing, Michigan passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. Age 60 years.
John was born to Eugene and Martha Flowers, February 15, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan.
Johnny was a graduate of J.W. Sexton High School, and a member of Trinity A.M.E. Church. He was formerly employed by the Board of Water and Light, but will best be remembered for his entrepreneur workmanship and carpentry. All that knew him would say that he could beautify anything that he put his hands too.
Johnny took his journey to heaven on Sunday, April 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Martha Flowers, one sister, Karen Lynn Bishop.
Johnny leaves to cherish his love and memories, two sons, Deshawn S. (Christi) Flowers, Terry (Marcus) Norton; one granddaughter, Zarae A. Flowers; one brother, Ronald E. (Sophie) Flowers; two sisters, Marilyn K. James, Josephine A. Mask, and many other relatives and friends.
