John Henry Brown (Lansing)

Mr. John Henry Brown passed away June 15, 2021, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 50 years. He was born April 30, 1971, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, to parents, Lamar Love and Georgia Mae Madison.

As a resident of Lansing, Michigan, John was affiliated with many churches and area clergy members, but mainly New Life Community Church. He worked several positions throughout his life, the last being with KFC.

John held a protector role in his family, but his chuckle and sense of humor was one to behold. He loved the outdoors, traveling and above all his family. John had a heart of gold and will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 4 daughters, Capri, Keyasia, Keyshia, and Zakylah; 6 sons, Rory, Antonio, Chris, John John, Trell, and Chris; 18 grandchildren; mother, Georgia Mae Madison; step-father, Charles Cooper; sisters, Gennett (Cookie), Willie Mae, Perlee; brothers, Donald, Lamarcus, and Keith; many nieces and nephews; and many other relative and friends including special friends, Doniesha Martin, Alisha Echols, and Tammy Baum.

John was preceded in death by his daughter, Shamorrow; father, Lamar Love; and sister, Sherry.
