Mr. John Jeffrey Johnson passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 51 years. He was born March 1, 1970, in Lansing, Michigan, to parents Konstantine Kostovic and Marilyn Leverington Richardson.
John had a humble and loving spirit. He enjoyed working on cars, was always cracking jokes, and would always lend a helping hand. John also had a passion from drawing and writing poems.
If you knew him, you had probably been fortunate enough to have tried his food – John loved to grill and feed those he loved. Feeding family and friends and seeing his circle of loved ones was one of John’s great joys in life.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, L’Tori Johnson of Lansing, Michigan; daughters, Tedessa Johnson-Rogers, Bre-Anna Johnson, Navia Salinas, and Wy’Ana Johnson of Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren, Kaniah, Elijah-John, Zy’Aire, Zay’Veon, Zahnia, Ka’Marie, Key’Aira, Winter, Kah’Kese, Carl, Jr., Kal-El, and Brandon of Lansing, Michigan; parents, Marilyn and Randy Richardson; sister, Kelly Johnson; niece, Marissa Johnson; nephews, Christopher Young, Jr., Desmond Johnson, Eric Beason, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Emelda Ma’Tina Watkins and Arthuria Matre Watkins; brother-in-law, William H. “Bro Bamm” Watkins; and many other relatives and friends including, Jimmy Wolvertin and Frank Triplett.
John was preceded in death by son, John Johnson, Jr., of Lansing, Michigan; and his father, Konstantine “Konnie” Kostovic.
