John M Adams

Elder John Morris Adams, age 64, died at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan Wednesday, September 21, 2011. John was born December 14, 1946, in LaGrange, Georgia, the son of John W. and Christine M. Adams.
He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, Class of 1966. Elder John Adams gave his life to the Lord at Emanuel Temple C.O.G.I.C. He attended New Covalent C.O.G.I.C. and served as a Deacon at Civic Height C.O.G.I.C. under Supt. Samuel Marsh. He received his Minister license in 1998 at Greater Bethlehel under Supt. Elder Nathanial Lewis Sr. Elder John Adams was most recently a member at Greater Redeemed Tabernacle. He worked at Fisher Body and Flint Coating. He also worked in automotive repairs, home repairs and snow plowing until retiring in 2005. Mr. Adams, CB Handle was known as Snowman but people often called him Rabbit.
John leaves to cherish his memory, ex-wife and mother of his 15 children, Ora Lee Frazier; 6 sons, Thomas Frazier of Saginaw, MI, John M. Frazier of Midland, MI, Andre Adams of Owosso, MI, David Adams of Flint, MI, Timothy (Quinteilla) Adams of Atlanta, GA, and Daniel Adams of Flint, MI; 8 daughters, Abigail Wilson, Vanessa Yates, Trina Frazier, Christine L. Adams, Yolonda Adams, Shanita Adams, Lisa Adams and Rachel Adams, all of Flint, MI; 40 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Verlinda (Milton) Finch of Surprise, AZ and Theresa Adams of Flint, MI; 3 brothers, Hollis (Mary) Adams of Flint, MI, Miles Adams, and Alonzo Adams; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Christine Adams; daughter, Sheronda Patrice Adams; sisters, Alantha Hyatt Pitt and Constance Elaine Adams.
