On Tuesday, July 31, 2012, angels called John Thomas Brown home to be with the Lord. Age 66 years. He was born October 19, 1945 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Otha and Easter Brown.
John was nine years old when he moved from Mississippi to Saginaw, Michigan where he attended Saginaw Public Schools. From any early age he loved to draw, he was very talented in painting portraits and murals. John loved to communicate, always talking with family, friends and strangers. He spent many hours reading and listening to old school and jazz music.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory one daughter, Tracy Brown Edwards, Huntsville, Alabama; two grand-daughters, Nichole Billingsley Richards and Tierra Richards, both of Huntsville, Alabama; his mother, Easter Brown; two brothers, Odis Brown, Knoxville, Tennessee, Charles Brown, Saginaw, Michigan; one sister Eileen Robinson; one special brother-in-law, John Robinson; nieces and nephews, Dameon, Michael, LaKesha, Charles, Allison, Kylis, Antwoine, William, Savannah and Keisha; a very special cousin, Patricia Jones, Tutwiler, Mississippi; his daughters mother, Cassandra Fowler; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Samuel Gipson, Lexington Mills, Frank Barney, David Orange, Freddie Foster, Mark Garrett.
John was preceded in death by his father, Otha Brown; one sister, Brenda Brown; one brother, Tony Brown.
