Johnell Whittington

Mr. Johnell Stephon Whittington departed this life on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the age of 30 years. He was born on January 6, 1994, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Lisa Parker and Larnell Whittington, and Mrs. Anitra Baker who claimed him from birth.

Johnell graduated from Cyber Education Center. He was known for his hustling. He knew how to make a way out of no way.

Johnell enjoyed listening to music and rapping under the name Gunna Gwap. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his brothers. Most of all he loved being a dad.

Johnell leaves to cherish his memory two sons, and one daughter Johnell Jr., Jaquan and Jevaeh Monae; parents, Lisa Parker and Larnell (Paula) Whittington, and Mrs. Anitra Baker; grandparents, Charlie Parker and Leola Whittington; siblings, Danessa Whittington, Larnell Darby, Darnell Darby, Alesha (Tamar) Jones, Kristal Mallisham, Qua’Vaun Mallisham, Chassidy Donaldson, and Tyreek Parker; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins too many to name; a host of friends including his special friend, Chatori Laury.

Johnell was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosie Parker; grandfather, Albert Whittington, and uncle, Albert Whittington Jr.
