Johnella Ramsey (Lansing)

.Mrs. Johnella Ramsey passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 91 years. She was born February 7, 1928 in Lauderdale, Tennessee to Sydney and Viola Jackson.

Mrs. Johnella later relocated to Lansing, Michigan after the passing of her husband, John Ramsey. She moved to be with the family of her longtime friend, Mattie Judge. Johnella loved fishing, working in her garden, cooking and going to the casino. She was very family oriented and loved being around every single one of them.

She leaves to cherish her memory the daughter she never had, but whom she raised and was her loving guardian, Jessie Mae Adams, Dimondale, Michigan; cousin Lonnie (Odell) McKissic, Jr., Springport, Michigan; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Valerie (Vince) Black, Lansing, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Syndey and Viola Jackson; her husband, John Ramsey, sister, Cleo Adams; special friends, Mattie Judge and Jessie V. Adams.
