Mrs. Johnetta Sanders was born January 17, 1948 in Edwards, Mississippi to Richard and Wilna Richardson. She was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the age of 72 years.
Johnetta accepted Christ at an early and grew in her faith at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church. She was active in ministry and sang in the choir. A student of Saginaw Public Schools, she took her education seriously and instilled the importance of education in her family.
Johnetta enjoyed spending quality time with her family and close friends. She liked fishing, playing cards, listening to blues music and cooking most of all. Everybody was welcome at her house and could come through at any time and get a plate. Her heart and door were always open. She didn’t have a lot, but what she had she was willing to share.
Johnetta will forever be remembered as loving, compassionate and full of life. She touched the lives of all those she came in contact with and those who knew her loved her dearly. Without a doubt, she will be missed.
