Johnie Andrews (Lansing)

Ms. Johnie Andrews passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at The Willows in East Lansing, Michigan. Age 52 years. She was born to parents, John and Ernestine Williams in Lansing, Michigan on October 20, 1966.

Johnie was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan. She was a high school graduate and Baptist by faith. Johnie loved gardening, movies, cooking and feeding her fellow neighbors.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, John and Ernestine Williams; sister, Melissa Andrews; 3 brothers, Charles Andrews, John Williams and Bruce Bell; 2 nieces, Khadejah Andrews and Amber Warren; 2 nephews, Charles Andrews, Jr. and Reginald Andrews; 5 aunts, Linda Thompson, Eva Jones, Martha Hunter, Francis Carlisle and Georgia Overhaltz; 2 uncles, Willie Thompson and Ernest Thompson, many cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Rick Haynes and Sandra Davis.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Nancy Thompson; aunt, Amanda Putnam; 2 uncles, Richard Thompson and Riley Thompson.

The family would like to express special thanks to the Hospice workers of The Willows Rehabilitation Center; the nurses and doctors of McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital and Jean Rankins for all of their assistance with Johnie.
