Mr. Johnnie Barnes passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at his residence. Age 68 years. He was born March 21, 1943 in Panola, Alabama to Matthew and Eva Barnes.
Johnnie served in the Vietnam War and was previously employed by General Motors and Dow Chemical. He was self-employed as an upholsterer. Anyone that knew him loved his humorous stories. He had a love for life and enjoyed fishing and playing chess. His humorous personality will surely be missed.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories one daughter, Andrea (Michael) Love, San Anotonio, TX, four grandchildren, Kahreem "Shea" Hogan, Greenville, SC, Thomas Damont Johnson, Tomaris Dontrelle Johnson, San Antonio, TX, Tyteana Davon Johnson, Nashville, TN; one great-grandchild, C-Nay Dayson Scruggs; one brother, Bob Barnes Jr., Saginaw, MI; one sister, Katie Mae Beachum, Saginaw, MI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including a very dear friend, Robert Williams, Saginaw, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew (Eva) Barnes; one loving daughter, Michelle Barnes, and one sister, Annie J. Pruitt.
