Rev. Johnnie W. Bryant Saginaw, Michigan. Our beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle passed away at his home on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Age 51 years. Rev. Johnnie William Bryant was born May 10, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan to Pastor Roger and Eva Mae Bryant.
Rev. Bryant was employed with the Saginaw Intermediate School District as a substitute teacher. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1977. He also received an Associate Degree from Baker College in Flint, MI, and was a graduate of Sperry School of Rail Testing. Rev. Bryant was an avid sports fan (University of Michigan).
Rev. Bryant was called to preach Gods Word and was ordained in July 2001. He loved God and could always be found doing the Lords work. He was an anointed singer and preacher. Rev. Bryant was a very dedicated minister to the Saginaw Valley District Association, and a member of the Saginaw Valley Local Ministers group.
Rev. Bryant leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Eva Mae Bryant, Saginaw, MI; father, Pastor Roger Bryant Sr., Dayton, OH; three daughters, Tanika (Christopher) Coleman, Hampton, VA, Mayosha Martin Bryant, Las Vegas, NV, Ariana Bryant Holmes, Saginaw, MI; three sons, Johnnie Bryant, Jr., Grand Rapids, MI, Jonathan Bryant, Indianapolis, IN, and Joshua Bryant, Flint, MI; five sisters, Maxine Bryant Kennebrew, Detroit, MI, Effie Bee Allen, Laverne Wilkins, Doris (Mac) Myrick, all of Saginaw, MI, Tausha Allen, Las Vegas, NV; one brother, Pastor Ronnie (Rosell) Bryant Sr., Waldorf, MD; four grandchildren, Kierra Johnson, Ahria Campbell, Kenedy Collins, and Jayden Bryant; fifty-two nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Ivan E. Phillips and Pastor James Speed.
Rev. Bryant was preceded in death by two brothers Milton Bryant, and Rev. Roger Bryant, Jr.; nephews, Steven Bryant, Kenneth Frazier Jr., and Roger Bryant III; grandparents, John Wesley and Maggie Nettles, William and Effie Bryant.
