Mr. Johnny B. Liddell passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the age of 65 following a lengthy illness. He was born to Lizzie Cooper on November 11, 1955 in Louisville, Mississippi. He then moved to Saginaw, Michigan in 1961.
He was employed at Hi-Tech Steel Treating Inc until he became ill. He loved cooking, watching old western movies, sports and spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish loving memories one daughter, Tamika Amos, a son-in-law Lorenzo Stewart; three granddaughters, Lateisha, Shamika and MaRayia Amos; three great-grandchildren Messiah, Amora and I'Lyah Amos; four sisters, Patricia and Ruth Liddell, Catherine (Clarence) Young, and Dorothy Cooper; two brothers, William and Wilson Cooper, all of Saginaw, Michigan. One sister-in-law, Cora Liddell, Mesa, Arizona; brother-in law, Marvin Prince; two aunts, Walterine (Charles) Eiland Louisville, Mississippi, Shirley Liddell; three uncles, CJ Liddell, Chicago, Illinois, Raymond (Thedford) Triplett, Riverside, California, and EJ Curtis, St. Louis, Missouri; a host of nieces,nephews, and friends, including special friends, Mary Amos, Juanita Gonzalez, Georgia Burks, Jacqueline Jenkins, William Byrd, Tyrone Welch and Larnell Whittington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie Cooper, grandmother, Magara Triplett; brothers, Walter Liddell and John Henry Cooper; sister, Sandra Prince; aunts, Ruthie Holmes, Shirley Curtis, and Katherine Liddell; uncles, Bobby and Robert Coleman, Willis, William and John Liddell; nephews, LaQuavis Cooper and Detorrion Liddell.
