Johnny C. Jones, Jr. (Okemos)

Johnny C. Jones, Jr., beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend was called home to rest by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 42 years olds. He was born on Sunday,  March 10, 1982, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to his parents, Johnny and Sue Jones.

Johnny’s education began in the Lansing School District. He graduated from WIlliamston High School in 2000. He later attended Greenville Technical College and earned a degree of Certificate in Applied Science. Throughout the years he participated in various continuing education programs.

Johnny was known for his love of family, his kindness and willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Johnny leaves his memories to be cherished by his parents, Johnny and Sue Jones; sisters, Lisa (Calvin) Wheeler, Franchesca (Tommy) Sudduth, and brother, Johnathon (Brandi) Jones, nieces Ayanna and Amani Wheeler and Liv Jones, nephews Austin and Adrian Wheeler and Harper Sudduth. In addition, he leaves a very special cousin Keena Amunga who was like a brother, childhood friends Charles McCants, Alvin Mask and Eric Rutledge, along with many other friends and extended family.
