Mr. Johnson Alexander Flanagan, IV. received his wings on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 41 years. He was born May 15, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan, at Hutzel Hospital to parents, Linda and Johnson Flanagan, III.

Known to many as Johnny, he worked in the automotive industry, as a liaison between General Motors and Ryder Logistics.

Johnny was an amazing father; he believed this to be one of his greatest accomplishments. His daughters Amari and Amiya Flanagan were his greatest joys and motivation.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends including his biker club, New Force.

Johnny was a wonderful person and friend to all. He had an undeniable impact on those around him. He is known for his funny since of humor! A loving and compassionate man with a big heart. He was a fighter who fought through his health issues with the heart of a warrior. He held his head high, showing us all what it looks like to finish strong. Johnson will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Latoya Flanagan; beautiful daughters, Amari Lynn Flanagan and Amiya La’nae Flanagan; parents, Linda and Johnson Flanagan, III; grandmother, Rita Flanagan; sisters, Maria and Nakeshwa Flanagan; brother, Savion Weakly; niece, Chantiae Jackson; nephews, Chantwan Jackson, Savonta Weakly, Zac Gardenhouse, Tevin Smith, Sajaun Weakly, and Tayshawn Weakly; aunts, Queen Foster, Laura (Eugene) Sawyer, and Linda M. Flanagan; uncle, James (Diane) Flanagan; many cousins; best friends, who were more like brothers, Marcus McKissic, LaJuan Gordon, Deontai Jordan, and Chris Hicks; and special regards to his biker club family.

Johnny was preceded in death by grandparents, Luther Flanagan, An Peter and Eddie Lue Weakly; uncles, Charles Weakly and Edward Weakly; aunts, Mae Batchelor and Betty Turner; and cousins, Walter Bennefield, Freddie Turner, and Marcus Batchelor.
