Mr. José Franklin Herrera passed away prior to June 28, 2020 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 48 years. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 18, 1971 the son of Gloria Herrera.
José was a member of the Maranatha Church. He received a high school equivalency diploma from the State of Michigan, Department of Education. José was a very friendly and caring person who was always willing to help others in need. He loved writing songs, drawing and listening to all types of music. He loved going to watch his uncle and cousins play music at the Mexican dances. José was a very spiritual person who took his religion seriously, always giving his blessing to anyone he ran into. He will be truly missed by all.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Janette Gonzalez, David, Navarro, Savannah Lopez and Jessica Vidal; 12 grandchildren; mother, Gloria Herrera; siblings, sister, Selsa Camacho and brother, Alex Camacho both of Florida; 8 nieces and nephews; 4 aunts, Mary (Nacho) Rodriguez; Maria (Tyree) Hernandez, Paula (José) Peña, Elisa (Eliu) Gayot; 4 uncles, Jerardo (Tilly) Herrera, Pablo (Anita) Hernandez,and Fidencio Hernandez; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pablo and Gloria Hernandez; uncle, José Herrera, Sr.; cousins, Augustine J. Hernandez, Diana Herrera, Adriana Herrera and Dominic Rodriguez.
