Jose (Lansing) Perez

Jose Perez passed away October 15, 2016 at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 84 years. He was born March 26, 1932 to Tomas and Consuelo Perez in Brownsville, Texas.
Jose Perez has been a resident of Lansing, Michigan for 28 years. He attended Nueva Vida (New Life) Hispanic Church. Jose has had a wide variety of employment with the skills to do most jobs. He has worked in coal mining, migrant work and also with General Motors. Jose loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was also a free spirit who loved to dance and joke with everyone. He loved to garden and gave his assistance with the community as much as he could.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Maria I., one daughter, Esmeralda Perez (Fianc, Emillio Gonzales); four sons, Jose (Olga Morales) Perez, Jr., Mario (Amparo) Perez, Oscar (Maricruz) Perez and Cesar (Maria) Perez; 22 grandchildren, Jose Antonio Perez, Vicente Vasquez, Corina Perez, Reyna Perez, Noelya Perez, Arturo Perez Avila, Mario Perez, Jr., Jose Perez, Maria Perez, Diana Perez, Valleria Perez, Venessa Nogueras, Luciano Nogueras, Michelle Nogueras, Delaiah Trainor, Grixy Carreon, Joshua Perez, Jeramiah Perez, Josiah Perez, Francisco DeLeon, Heaven Perez and Brissa Gonzalez; 6 great-grandchildren, Noah Perez, Nova Johnson, Constantine Nogueras, Terrion Suttles, Mariana Perez and Angel Perez; 2 sisters, Refujia Ramonez Perez and Eudelia Trevino Perez and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and grandchild, Diane Perez.
