Ms. Josefa M. Mejia was born April 20, 1936 in Sabinal, Texas, the daughter of Pedro and Josefina Mejia. She passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Age 82 years.
Josefa, lovingly called “Josie” by family was a wonderful homemaker and a great cook. She had a passion for her music and dancing. She was a songstress that always had a melody in her heart to share.
Josie was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Mejia and Josefina (Medina) Mejia; sisters, Refugia Ramirez, Martina Mejia; brothers, Santiago Mejia Sr.; Guadalupe Mejia and Francisco Mejia Sr.
She leaves to celebrate her life three sisters, Paula Garcia, Maria Olivia Diaz and Jesusa Silva.
