Joseph Albert Myles of Saginaw, Michigan passed away from Tendercare - Saginaw surrounded by his loving family on November 22, 2010. Age 87 years. He was born May 24, 1923 in Des Moines Iowa. The son of the late Mary Annette & Albert Myles.
He was a member of Unity Faith of San Antonio, Texas for many years. He also served in the US Marines Corps. He served in World War II. He received a purple heart. He enjoyed Baseball; he was a great baseball player he could tell you anything about baseball. He played at Hoyt & Wickes Park for many years. He was an umpire for many years.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory two sons and one daughter, Schuyler Myles, Theresa {Manuel} Melchor of Saginaw, Charles Myles of Beaverton; three step children, James Clark of Beaverton Rudy { Jenny} Clark, Roberta { Jason} Ball all of Gillette Wyoming; he has two special formal, daughters in-law, Heather and Naomi also of Saginaw. He has sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren. The family would like to express a special thanks to Advanced Hospice of Bay City, Michigan.
Joseph was preceded in death by his sister Alice Cronley, brother -in -law Schuyler Cronley, daughter Janice Myles, and grandson Felix Myles. Cremation has taken place per his wishes.
