Julian K. Lawrence Butter Bean, was born on June 25, 1958 in Saginaw, MI to the late Harvey and Annie Mae Lawrence.
Julian enjoyed sports and was a huge baseball fan. He enjoyed being around family and friends, playing dominos and just having a good time making people laugh. However on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Heartland Healthcare Center of Saginaw our father in heaven decided it was time for Bean to come on home for he had other plans for him his work on earth was done for we shall see him again in Heaven.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jamarin Stanton; seven step-children, Tanisha Clark, Kamisha West, Ebony West, Arnell West, Tameka Cameron, Ronovan Cameron and Darius Cameron; one grandchild, Marianna Shawnea Stanton; two sisters, Carlena Lawrence and Shirley Hunt; two brothers, Joseph (Missi) Lawrence of Mt. Plesant, TN and Charlie G. Lawrence; step-sister, Gayle Ford; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special nieces, Monique, Stephanie and Sophia Lawrence (Saginaw, MI), Catrena Lawrence (TN), Serena Francis (TN), Victoria Lawrence (GA), Casandra (Gregory) Newton (GA), Fontella Young (OR), Angela Lawrence (OH), Jacqueline (Derek) Harper (OH) and Rita Lawrence (Saginaw, MI); special nephews, Roger Lawrence, Steve Lawrence (Madison, WI), Michael Lawrence (Oshkosh, WI), Anthony Blocker (Saginaw, MI), Reginald Lawrence (Madison, WI), Harvey Mark Lawrence (KY), Christopher Lawrence (Saginaw, MI), Theotis Lawrence (Saginaw, MI), Tracy Lawrence (Saginaw, MI) and Charlie Lawrence (Mt. Pleasant, MI); special friends, Bruce Williams, Samuel Gibson, Brenda Cameron, Lula McClendon, James Doyd (Waco, TX), Gloria Darby (Madison, WI), Sunobia Sims (Saginaw, MI), and Alberta Miller (Saginaw, MI) and caretaker, Cynthia McGee, The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Reed and Miller families.
Julian was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Annie Mae Lawrence; three brothers, Thomas Lawrence, Harvey Lawrence III and Charles E. Lawrence; and sister, Brenda Lawrence.
