Julian Ray Hood, Sr. (Lansing)

Mr. Julian Ray Hood Sr. departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the age of 63 years. He was born August 9, 1952 in Reed City, Michigan, the son of LaVerta F. and Elmer R. Hood Jr.
Julian was a resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a 1970 graduate of J.W. Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan. Julian completed some college in Vocational Technology and retired as a Die Caster Technician.
His memory will be forever cherished by his daughter, LaTisha McCray; three sons, Julian Ray Hood Jr.,DiaBate Hood and Darius Hood; one stepdaughter, Barbara Palmer; five grandchildren; father, Elmer R. Hood Jr.; two sisters, Debra D. Garrett and Karen F. Hood; three brothers, Elmer R. Hood III, Ronald A. Hood and Marion S. Hood; four sisters-in-law, Samaria, Renee`, Toni and Loraine; six aunts, Judy, Mahaley, Marcello, Sheila, Mary and Monica; five uncles, Louis, Julius, Frank, Madison and Bryon; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Julian was preceded in death by his mother, LaVerta F. Hood, grandparents, Elmer R. Hood Sr., Mae F. Hood, Elbert and Osie Lee Waters.
