Ms. Karla Hall-Taylor, an Angel of God was called home, in the company of many family members whom she loved deeply on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 51 years. She was born on November 30, 1967, the daughter of Viola Harden and Curtis Glast.

Karla Hall-Taylor grew up in Lansing, Michigan, where she graduated from Everett High School and later attended Lansing Community College. She retired from Ameritech after 25 years of service, then went on to become employed with La'salle Bank for 6 years. She decided to retire from the work field completely to become a stay at home grandmother and wife. Karla was a loving person with a heart of gold. She would never turn anybody away. She was a mother to many. Karla loved to spend time with her grandchildren, they were her world. Karla loved cooking; her specialty was dressing.

She leaves to cherish her memory and to carry on her legacy her husband, Tyrone “Bo” Taylor; daughter, Markeida Adams of Lansing, Michigan; two stepchildren, Tybrekia Weekly and Tyrone Ellis; parents, mother, Viola (Tet) Harden of Lansing, Michigan and father, Curtis Glast of Lansing, Michigan; brothers, Curtis (Shanda) Glast of Montgomery, Alabama, Kawnnda (Toya) Hall of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Sabrina Glast, Angel (James) Hogan of Lansing, Michigan, Sareia Butler of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Marerica Rutledge, Marayzha Johnson, Wallace Malone, De'Shawnta Malone, Gala Winston, Wi'Niyaha "BabyCakes" Rembert, Cuppy, Miyah B, Jamariyan Kelly, Ameya Lewis, La'Darius Jones, and Tyrone Ellis; niece, Amani Glast and three nephews, Mar'quese Glast, James Hogan and Jeremiah Hogan; godchildren, Anthony Goodman, Nyreyon Thomas, and Si'aynah Barber; many aunts, uncles and cousins including special cousins, Tim Verser, Sharetha Carter, and Toni Woods, who were very close to her and many other friends including special friends, Robin Hollingsworth, Wanda Green, Renee Mitchell and Marcus Adams.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Viola Baldwin; grandmother, Icyrean Gunnells; grandfather, Meldon (Paw Paw) Gunnells; brother, Kurt Glast; nephew, Curtis "LiL C" Glast; father, Wilfered "Leon" Hall and several aunts.
