KayVion DeVon Buchanan passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 16 years. He was born on January 16, 2008, in Saginaw, Michigan to Latanya Buchanan and Adam D. Clemmons Jr.


KayVion attended Mackinaw High School and was a member of Christ Deliverance Center. He enjoyed cooking, eating, playing video games, and doing TikTok. KayVion loved to dance and rap. He also enjoyed watching MMPS with his auntie. KayVion was a very joyful and playful person with a smile that would brighten up a room. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his sisters, his father, and his big brother. When KayVion got his fresh haircut, nobody could tell him anything. He will be remembered, loved and missed by family and friends.


KayVion leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Latanya Buchanan, and Adam D. Clemmons Jr.; grandparents, Lawrence Dunnaway, Adam (Gloria) Clemmons, Lenora Clemmons, Michael (Lois) Buchanan, and Debbra Coleman; four sisters, Shaukia Buchanan, Ce’Della Virgies, Kaydreona Clemmons, Alayah Jackson, and godsister, Treasure; two brothers, Devontae Clemmons and Alijah Jackson; three nieces, Lyric and Layla Clemmons, and Winter Davis; one nephew, Storm Davis; seven aunts, Shannon, Shantial, Latasha and Pamalin Buchanan, Shanika Page, Jennifer Clemmons, and Tanya Feltson; uncles, Lawrence Dunnaway; great uncles Ronnie Clemmons Sr. Curtis Pennington and Derrick Dunnaway, and John Clark; cousins, Amarion, Davarion, Julieiona, and Keymani Buchanan, Lamya, Rayshawn and Theodore Parker Jr., JaQuan Page, Jon’Terrua, Jon’Torrion Reed, Da’Terriua and Da’vionce Williams; many other relatives and friends including special cousins, Cadian Clemmons, Kawanna Dawkins, Alex Jones, Marcus Clemmons Jr., Keino Hughes, Lillian Solomon, Thomas Mckinnly, Kentavibus Jackson, Quinterrion Jones, Ashley Martini, Lamarrion Patterson, and Hariyah Boyd; friends, LeOntay Pickett, DiMiya Turner, and Amani Gallardo; close friends, Eric Brooks, James McDonald, Dimario Adam Turner, Kentorion Amos, Ethan Goslin, D’Angelo Spears, and DiMero Bernard Turner-White.


KayVion was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Dunnaway; great-grandparents, Marie Dunnaway, and Polly Barkley; stepfather, Stephen Lynn Winchester; cousin, Brandon Patterson, Ma’Kirionna Dawkins, Ronnie Clemmons, and Deleon Buchanan.
