Keisha Diane Green Lady Blue passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She was born September 17, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sharon K. Price and John H. Green.
Keisha was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw Public Schools. Keisha was a member of Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Murray Culberson. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, knitting, cooking ribs and spending time with her family and friends. Keisha worked at home due to a lengthy illness. She had a caring heart, fought a good fight and never lost her faith. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, LaNeisha, TaNeisha and Keisha Roberson; her mother, Sharon Price; grandmother, Hattie Wadley; three brothers, Donald (Latosha) Perry, John Green (Shavon Butterfield), Sylander Hopkins; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Terence Smith; two special aunts, Alicia Wadley and Olivia (Sylvester) Jones; seven uncles, Mark (Melissa) Wadley, Craig Wadley, Derek (Meiling) Wadley, Johnny (Shirley) Green, Tyrone E. Damon, James (Linda) Smith, Charles Green; a special cousins, Dianne West and Alexis Wadley; godmother, Vickey Blunt; many other relatives and friends including special friends Catherine Troublefield, Lauren Morris, Latoya Barnes, Sabrina McKinnon and Ashley Hackett.
Keisha was preceded in death by her father, John Green, grandparents, Roosevelt Wadley, John and Claudy Green, one aunt, Patricia Damon, one uncle, Samuel Wadley, one cousin, Michael Wadley.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Barb Kish, Fresenius Medical center, Pastor Culberson and the Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church family and to all the supportive friends and family who made donations toward the funeral service. Sincere gratitude to all of you for your prayers, hugs, kind words, flowers and all expressions of love during our time of bereavement.
