On October 8, 2021, Kenneth Andre Williams “Hack” made his peaceful transition into his eternal resting place, Age 58 years. He was born on March 26, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky, along with his twin brother Elder Kerry Allen Williams, Sr. to Reverend Jodie and Patricia (Helm) Williams. Our beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend was called from labor to rest in Lincoln Park, Michigan.
He was educated in Saginaw Public Schools graduating from Saginaw High School, class of ’81. After serving in the United States Army, Kenneth lived in Louisville Kentucky, Grand Rapids and Lincoln Park, Michigan. Kenneth worked in several jobs in the construction field until his health declined. He was a faithful member of Haley Brothers Disabled American Veteran’s Post 117, Saginaw, Michigan, and Schultz/McKinney Jr. Post 9931.
Kenneth accepted Christ at an early age, and was a member of TrueVine Baptist Church in Saginaw and was steadfast in devotion throughout his life. Kenneth loved all sports especially the Detroit Lions, Pistons, the Detroit Tigers, Michigan State Spartans Football and Basketball, NASCAR, and spending time with family, friends, and other Veterans. Kenneth was loved by his family and friends, and he was always the “life of the party”. He loved his family very much, and was adamant about “doing it his way”!
Kenneth leaves to celebrate his life his daughter, Kimberly Velasquez (Dominique)-Grand Rapids, Michigan; son, Timothy Tull, Radcliff, Kentucky; bonus children Robert and Craig Hughes, Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren, Joselyn, Josette, Timothy, Jr., Timya, Tyson, Taylor, and Evelyn; parents, Reverend Jodie (Patricia)Williams; sister, Lisa Williams; brother, Darius Gee, Atlanta, Georgia; godbrother, TaJuan LaBee, Seattle, Washington; nephews that he helped to raise, Anthony Williams (Jamika), Kerry Williams, Jr.; nieces, Tiffany Lindsey, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Dynasty Wilson (Shawn), Grand Rapids, Michigan; many other relatives including aunts, uncles, other nieces, nephews, and his childhood friends from Moten Drive, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd streets who affectionately called him “Hack”.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his twin brother, Elder Kerry A. Williams, Sr., brother, Kent Wallace; grandparents, Willie (Rubie) Williams, William (Mattie) Helm, aunts, Joyce Lowe, Rubie Collins, Bessie Myles; uncles, Willie Williams, William Helm, Jr., Frederick Helm, Sr., and Robert Helm; the mothers of his children, Alfaynette Hughes and Saundra Foshay, along with many other relatives and friends.
