Kenneth Duane Sanders

Mr. Kenneth Duane Sanders was born January 9, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Ruby Seay Sanders and Melvin Thomas Sanders. Our beloved Father, Son, Grandfather, Brother and Friend went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2019. Age 62 years.

Kenneth was a longtime resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Saginaw High School. He was employed with the City of Saginaw and the General Motors Corporation Grey Iron Foundry. He was an active member with UAW Local 668 before his retirement.

Kenneth was a man of God and he loved the Lord. He was a member of Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Marvin T. Smith. He loved sports and fishing. More than anything, he loved his family. He was kind-hearted and a giver. He was always helping and sharing with his family and friends. A good son, loving father, doting grandfather, protective brother and loyal friend is how he will be remembered.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Melvin T. Sanders; grandparents, Henry Sr. and Annie Seay; uncles, Henry Jr. and Joel Seay.

He leaves precious memories with his daughter, Ebony Koger; mother, Ruby Seay Sanders; grandchildren, Christopher Adams, Shane Kenneth Koger, both of Phoenix, Arizona; great-grandson, Nehemiah Washington; sister, Cathy Williams; many other relatives and friends.
