Keontae' Z Amerson

October 19, 1987 — March 23, 2012

Keontae Zamarcus Amerson passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Covenant Hospital. Age 24 years. He was born October 19, 1987 in Saginaw, Michigan to Bertha Archibald-Amerson and Alfred E. Amerson. He is now victorious over life on earth, but his spirit lives on.
Keontae' accepted Christ at a young age under the leadership of Pastor Roy Manning at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, where he participated in the youth choir and youth activities. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 2005, receiving his high school diploma. He was recently enrolled at Delta College for mechanical engineering. He loved spending time with his children, proven to be a great father. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, playing basketball and taking the kids for rides on their bikes. Keontae' was not a stranger to the reading of Gods word.
Keontae' leaves behind a lovely fianc of nine years, Catrina Sanchez; three children, DeQuavion Sanchez, age 9, Keontae Z. Amerson Jr., age 4, Micah A. Harris, 2 months; five siblings, Nedra Archibald, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Charles (Josie) Hinton, Coker, Alabama, Tracie Amerson-Nunez, Florida, Mark (Brenda) Wilson, Bay City, Michigan, Christina Mueller, Saginaw, Michigan; six nephews and eight nieces, including two who were very dear to him, Keith Jordan and Jada Archibald-Binion, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends including a dear cousin, James Archibald; two good friends, Dominique Brown and Da'Ron Caldwell, a special family, the Caldwell/Pettigrew Family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents along with a special guardian, Mrs. Claudia Green.
