Kirk Ainsworth (Lansing)

Mr. Kirk Allan Ainsworth passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems Hospital in Lansing. Michigan. Age 51 years. Kirk was born October 10, 1970, in Lansing, Michigan, to parents Allan LeRoy Ainsworth and Maria Felis Villanueva.

Kirk was raised in Sunfield and Lake Odessa, Michigan, where he attended Lakewood High School. Later he would return to Lansing, Michigan to reside. He was in the construction field for over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator and pipe layer.

He loved spending quality time with his family and friends; specifically, his 2 sons. Kirk enjoyed wrestling, mud bogging, hunting, attending car meets and shows, boating, working on cars and concerts.

Kirk was always going the extra mile to teach his boys life’s lessons.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Nicholas Allan Ainsworth and Jesse Allan Ainsworth; mother, Maria Felis Villanueva; sisters, Catalina (Curt) Holman and Dawn (Darby) Goodemoot; brothers, RoyAl Ainsworth, Scott Ainsworth; and Justin Ainsworth; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and the mother of his children, Shawna Ainsworth. 

Kirk was preceded in death by his father, Allan LeRoy Ainsworth; and aunt, Janis Ainsworth.
