Kisha Parker-Jones (Lansing)

Ms. Kisha Parker-Jones passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 51 years. She was born September 24, 1968, the daughter of Henry L., Jr. and Mattie L. Parker in Lansing, Michigan.

Kisha was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan. She was educated in the Lansing School District. Kisha was a member of Rebirth Outreach Church of Ministries, Pastor E. D. Clay. She was employed by the Lansing School District and Home Instead Senior Care. Kisha lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She was a diehard University of Michigan fan, enjoyed roller-skating with her sister, Nancy, chatting on social media and especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family members and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Keyona Rogers and Michael A. Jones, Jr.; grandchildren, Alia, Alaynna, Nevaeh, Za’Nyah, Zari’Yana, Zy’Ein and Zy’Eil;mother, Mattie L. Parker; 4 sisters, Patricia Horton and Nancy Nelson, both of Lansing,Michigan, Sheila Jenkins of Oregon and Sharon of Gary, Indiana; brothers, Clarence Watts of Las Vegas, Nevada, Karl Parker of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Ronald Parker of Gary, Indiana; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including very special friends, Mary Jackson and Kim Stallworth.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry L. Parker, Jr.; brother, Henry L. Parker, III; aunt, Mazzie Tate and brother-in-law, John Horton.

The family would like to express special thanks to our family and friends who supported us during this difficult time.
