Kossie Omar Williams was born October 11, 1985 in Saginaw, Michigan to Kossie McCaskey and Beatrice Williams. He attended Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School, “Class of 2005.” After graduation, he went on to take classes at University of Phoenix before becoming self-employed. Kossie’s favorite activities included shopping and traveling. A true sneakerhead, he loved Jordans and was a collector of Jordan Retros. Smart, independent and strong-willed only describe the surface of who Kossie really was. A family man who adored his children, loved and respected his father, treasured his mother and cherished his siblings is the core of Kossie Omar Williams. He was kind, loving, forgiving, thoughtful and fun. He loved being around his family and friends, telling jokes and making everyone around him smile and laugh. His energy was infectious and he was always the life of the party. Anytime he was around, you would probably hear him say, “That’s crazy.” His beautiful smile and crazy laugh will be missed by all who knew him.
On Saturday, July 7, 2018, Kossie joined the love of his life, his mother Beatrice Williams; daughter, Kay’Oire Williams; brother, Neal Williams; aunt, Regina Andersen; uncles, Nathaniel McCaskey, Jr., Willie Bracket; and niece, Dericka Burch, who all preceded him in death.

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” We were not ready, but God said it was your time. Fly high Kossie until we meet again.
