Our beloved daughter, sister, mother and aunt, Lafayette Bonita Martin went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the age of 49 years. She was born October 6, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Barbara Jean Epperson and J.W. Martin.
Lafayette was a member of Truevine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Paul E. Broaddus. She was loveable person who enjoyed playing spades. Lafayette loved spending time with friends and especially her family whom she loved dearly. She was the life of the party and everyone enjoyed being around her. Lafayette was a mother figure to all of her nieces and nephews. She lost her one and only son, Jermaine Martin four years ago due to heart complications. Lafayette still mourned his death but she was a strong person and always kept it moving. She was loved by many.
