Larry Dean Diggs

Larry Dean Diggs was born on October 9, 1958. He departed this life to be with our Lord on December 26, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ. Age 51 years.
Larry attended Saginaw High School and the Culinary Training Academy of Las Vegas, Nevada. He began his career as a Chef working at the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas and most recently in Phoenix, AZ. Larry gave his life to Christ at an early age and in the past few years he re-dedicated his life to Christ and joined Sumber Ministries and the Salvation Army Ministries of Phoenix, AZ. It was there that he ministered through sharing his testimony and led many people to Christ. Because of this outreach ministry upon his death, 150 men attended a memorial held in Larrys honor.
Larry is survived by his mother, Georgia L. Diggs of Saginaw, MI; wife, Dorothy Diggs of Las Vegas, NV; son, Dominique Diggs of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters, Miracle and Melissa Diggs and Bernadette Little of South Carolina; granddaughter, Madison Diggs of South Carolina; three sisters, Hazel Marie McMullen, Lovera Peaches Woods and Beverly A. Diggs all of Saginaw, MI; brother, Robert Diggs Jr. of Saginaw, MI; aunt, Hazel Roberts of Saginaw, MI; uncle, Johnnie Phillips of Saginaw, MI and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including good friends, Rev. William Murphy and Terry Williams both of Saginaw, MI; the Staff of Sumber Ministries and the Salvation Army Ministries both of Phoenix, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Diggs Sr.; grandmother, Georgia Ransom; two brothers, James Diggs and Leroy Diggs and two sisters, Bobbie Jean Barbara Jones and Verdia Nickson-Price.
Larry will be deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
