Latrease Williams (Lansing)

Miss LaTrease Diane Williams was sent home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18th, 2020 in Lansing Michigan, age 28 years old. She was born on October 17th, 1991 to Dwight and Mashell Williams.

LaTrease Williams accepted Christ as her Lord and savior and was a member of Mask Memorial Church CME, headed by Reverend A. Swanigan.

We will always and forever remember LaTrease to be a loving, high spirited person, with a smile and presence that would light up a room. LaTrease’s spunky character and awesome personality was a vibe that brought joy to everyone in her presence. She enjoyed being outside taking walks and reading. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

LaTrease is survived by 3 beautiful children K’Mari, Amoni and Da’kari; her grandparents, Verlee Williams, Tommie Black and Shellie Louis Jr; her mother Mashell R. Williams; her siblings Dominique Williams, Deonte’ Williams and Demetrius Williams; her aunts LaTease Williams, Anquanetta Golden, Madlyne Williams, Dianne Hartwell and Tina Duckett; her uncles Fabian “Mark” Williams, Angelo Williams, Richard Williams Jr., Derrick Louis, Shellie Louis lll, Steven (Mishelle) Roper, Timothy (Angel) Roper and Shellie Louis lV; as well as nine nieces and nephews. LaTrease also leaves a numerous number of great aunts and great uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish her memory.

LaTrease was proceeded in death by her grandfather Richard Williams Sr.; her father Dwight Williams Sr.; and her brother Dwight “Domino” Williams Jr.

The Lord called one of his children home and he said “LaTrease Williams, lay down and take your rest. Lay your head upon your saviors’ chest” I want to tell you that he loves you best when he called you home.
